Clipboard2Watch 1.6

Note: there will be only one more update to this app, which adds new features for SW2 - smooth scrolling and toggling between preset and clipboard data. After that, the app will no longer be updated due to better alternatives being available in the Play Store now. Looks like more people had the same idea that I once had, and now the new generation of devs has taken it even further, which is great :)

With this extension, remembering things will be a lot easier! It will display the text that is in your phone's clipboard directly on your SmartWatch! Alternatively, you can set your own text to display through the configuration screen.

Have to remember a booking code or e-ticket number? Simply copy it from the e-mail, and it will automatically be displayed on your SmartWatch. No need to go into its configuration again every time!

(Note that the clipboard is emptied every time the phone reboots, so if you want a message to be persistent, it is recommended to manually enter / paste it into the preset text option)

Note that a Sony SmartWatch is REQUIRED to run this application! The application itself is only accessible from within the actual SmartWatch, and can be configured from the SmartWatch plugin manager. Installing this application on a TV settop box or car entertainment/connectivity hub is not tested or recommended, please install on an Android phone or Android tablet only.

Due to SmartWatch touchscreen limitations, swiping response (for scrolling) may be a bit finnicky. One thing to keep in mind is that it works better when your finger is pushing down on the watch for a while before moving it up/down. For best results: PUSH-HOLD DOWN-SWIPE-LIFT. Alternatively, you can scroll by tapping the bottom half of the watch to scroll down, or the top half to scroll up.

It does not seem to be possible to hide the application icon for a widget that is 'activatable'. Only when the application is programmed as widget-only (ie. without a fullscreen mode when you click it), the application icon will not appear. Since some users may prefer to have a fullscreen mode available, the consequence is that the application icon is visible.

This extension has been tested on a Sony Xperia Z only. Please let me know if there are issues with your device when using version 1.6 or higher of the application, and include your device name and the installed Android version.
